Ugly
I’d like to sit
On a half-worn-out
Old leather couch with you.
Not quite sure
Where every discolored crease came from,
Or why the back right-hand corner
Smells distinctly of cat piss
When we are dog people,
But knowing exactly where we’re comfortable.
